Clearing the Ridge

This is another painting in my golfer series. There was a ridge line on this part of the course that had to be cleared. I'm not a golfer so if anyone knows the terminology better feel free to let me know. In this painting I was playing with the color and started with a blue toned canvas to see if it might help to tie the piece together while I played with my reds. I feel like the perspective was really helped by that. Thanks for sharing! :D
